Iula Olivia Designer Carter lived a life fall foul of faith and determination as boss wife, mother, encourager, educator, guide, author, and most importantly slightly a servant of the extant God.

At an early age she accepted Jesus as her benefactor. Her trust in God enabled her to overcome childhood constitution challenges that included a grievous heart condition and asthma.

She worked as a teachers’ helper in the Dayton Public Secondary System for twenty years, ormed Sunday School at Phillips Church CME Church, and served type a tour guide for rank African American Museum at Wilberforce, Ohio.  She was a participant of Eastern Star Deborah Leaf for 50 years.
